Another Summary

Whats the word after busy? Tired. Am lagging in the world of blogging. Did few stuffs last week but they took more than half of my free time. I'm not complaining just expressing. : )

MASOC AGM (Annual General Meeting)

So I dressed nicely. Really nice.

Went to MB371. The attendees

singsoc and AHKS representatives.

Me and Yen. Am smiling but am actually pretty nervous.

The Candidates. From left Wai Khin, Neil, V...(Cant spell his name), me, Yen, John, Michelle, William.

Neil with his presentation.

Am the second one to do the presentation. My slides were the only slides with images. Images are more meaningful than paragraph. If you are considering a dynamic presentation, use images.

Look at his slide.

She went for presidency.

Michelle sleeping apparently.

I was competing for the external secretary position. I managed to come up with an entertaining and enthusiastic presentation but lack clarity. I was bombarded with hard questions during QNA. I forgot to construct a vision once joining the committee. Gapten was really analytical and he saw my flaw and decided to add salt to it. Gosh, I look very unprofessional. I was stressed out...almost. Wai Khin got the position considering he had a lot more experience than me. I ended up with publicity which is not bad considering I get to meet a lot of new people. : )

The old and New committee.

See something 'right' about the pic?

After the AGM, we went to Malaysian Delight. 8 quid is not bad and the foods were nice. Got discount using Malaysia society card. The more reason for you to join us. : ) We also have discounts at Wokmania up tp 20% (If I am not mistaken) A better deal than just using the student card.

Badminton at Gem Sports on Friday

Sorry no pictures. Nothing much to talk about. Me, Willian, Wai Khin, Hazim, Nadir, Johnny and Chris played. At quarter past 1, met Kayun and went to Lakeside. Kayun will soon become Birmingham next photographer. : P

We went to Wokmania and spend our time there up to 4.00 p.m . Then I went to Argos for my sleeping bag and went back home. Showered and packed. Went to the guild and met up with the rest of the raggies. We departed from Aston at quarter past six with two minivans drove by tampon and Collin. I'm on Tampon's minivan and she drove well. They were 37 of us.

Everywhere I go, I sleep.

We took two stops along the way. One for toilet purposes, and another for dinner. We arrived in Newcastle at quarter past midnight. It was freezin outside. Some of us decided to go clubbing and some like me prefer to stay behind.

Can you locate my position?

It wasnt a descent sleep but it was enough to keep me awake for the charity work. Jake snored like a bear for someone of his size. Luckily I bought my earphone with me. It was awkward to sleep beside a couple/acquintances. But what to do, I'm so freakin tired to pick up a nice spot for myself.

Above was the bucket I used to collect money for the charity. I heard some bad stuffs about this organization from people. Moving on.

Max (Rover the Dog) and Steve (Captain America)

Group pictures at Northumbria University Union

Aston University collected around 3000 quid and the total collection from all the universities was around 12000 quid. I collected about 36 quid. Personally it was a good amount considering all I did was stood in front of a traffic light with my bucket held outwards. But then comparing with other raggies I did a very bad job. Average that day excluding me was around 80 quid. Tips: Wear costumes/fancy dresses, it attracts kids and adults have no choice but to give money to justify their kid's interest.

Anyways we had free pizzas. I munched more than a dozen slices of them. I can't resist free food. After dinner, the rest of the raggies went clubbing and I went to the Bruneians' place in Newcastle. I thank all the Bruneian there for their hospitality especially Liya for making my stay with the Bruneian possible.

Three things I learned from this trip:
1. I can survive without cleaning myself for 3 days.
2. I don't like heavy drinkers.
3. I love Aston University.

I like to thank everyone who had greet me on my birthday. 1/12/2008 was the best day in UK so far in my life! A greet from one person really brightened up my 1/12. It was unexpected since we just met once. I think its time for me to end my single status and start hunting for my soulmate. I have this feeling that I don't need to hunt because the goddess is just a block away.

Have a nice day.

End of Week Summary

This is where am suppose to write 'I am too busy and have no time to attend to this blog'. Guess what? Its true. What I've been doing lately?

Anime Screening

We watched Comic Party Revolution and Detective Conan. The former was told beforehand and the latter was kept secret until that day. In between the screening, quizzes were given out based on the first anime. We separated ourselves into a group of four. There were Hazim, Me, William and Zenda In my group (Team Kawaii/ Team Hentai). There were 19 MCQ questions. Unfortunately because they were easy, we did lots of careless mistakes. We could have won the naruto accessories.

After the second anime, we had the 'continue the scene' actvity. We were shown an anime clip for 1 minute and we were to continue or guess the next scene that comes after it. The grand prize was a limited edition doll. Hazim won the doll. He did a very funny script that really reflects the 'psychology' part of him. Hope he doesn't read this blog or I'll be damn for saying that. : )

Then we had a group picture.

Badminton

On Friday at 12, William invited me to play badminton at Woodcock. It was a regular badminton organized by the pharmacy's student under the management of Paik Ling. It was my second badminton session of the semester. This were the results of the game:

Me and Johnny Vs Wai Khin and Nadhir
3 sets, and we won 2 sets.

Me Vs Johnny
Just a non competitive play but competitive.

Me and Johnny Vs William and Nadhir
1 set, and we lost. I have reason to justify the defeat. Before this game, me and Johnny were playing for almost an hour without any breaks. We were tired. : )

Me and William Vs Johnny and .....I forgot
We won. : )

The winning team. Spot the Shuttle Cock.

This guy never fails to make me laugh.

We spend 2 hours. It was fun. After badminton we went to Birmingham ticket centre and bought the

We'll be watching quarter, semi-final and final. The ticket cost 27.10, the original price is about 40 quid. If anyone is interested, better purchase the ticket now because almost all the good seats are booked. Dont forget your student card for the discount.

Johnny's Birthday at Pad Thai

Gathered at Saint Martin. I played Call of Duty: World at War, I loved it. I never played any first person game shooter before. Wait, I did played doom. That was a long time ago. Back to present, I loved the game that I decided to buy it once I got tv install in my room.

After that we played Mortal Kombat Vs DC. Nadhir and me paid equally for the game. If you guys want to buy this average game, buy it at gamestation, there is a free bag that comes with it. The women characters in the game sucks. Apart from the jiggly and huge breasts, you don't want to use them. But surprisingly the IA did pretty well. When Nadhir played the story mode, he had a hard time defeating wonder woman. Maybe its just us (me and johnny) that are'nt complex enough to use women characters.

We ate delivered dinner. I forgot to ask Hazim's for the phone number. Whatever the restaurant that made those foods, worth the 5 quid. We went to Pad Thai at 11.30 p.m. We played Soul Calibur and heck Nadhir was damn good at it. Yoda is playable in the game. So does Darth Vader and Apprentice from the latest Star Wars installment. Another game to buy as soon as tv is in.

The temperature was ok that night. A bearable cold. Pad Thai is located just pass the ring road. Opposite Raddison hotel. There were about 20 of us that night. 4 malays, one caucasian and the rest chinese. Well we blended in pretty well. Karaoked till 5 a.m.

I sang quiet number of song (without the microphone most of the time), Greatest love of all, Don't want to miss a thing, Hao Xin Fen Shao, Tong Huo, and many more I cant remember.

I like to introduce you to a very fun game. So fun that if you win you never get drunk. : )

You need:

This thing. Whatever it is called.

5 dices.

The first thing you should do is:

cover it.

And then:

Shake it like hell. Johnny couldnt help but pose everytime he sees a camera.

And Then:

Check your number

The objective of the game is to guess the right number of dice when all the dice put together. If you see the last picture above, you can see there are....oh crap if you get one of each face you must shake it again till you get two or more dice per face. Lets use an example:

1. Say I end up with three five dices and two four dices. All I have to do is guess what the other party have. So let say Stephen got two five dices and three five dices.
2. I say to him "Five Five dices". Which basically means the total amount of 5 face dices we have is five. So I am assuming he has two five dices.
3. At this point, Stephen either bet a higher number of dices. He can say "Six four dices". In this case, I either ask him to show the dices, I increase the number, or I lie and make up a non-existent number. I can say "Seven Four" or "Seven two". Which of course is very unlikely. Another scenario would be
4. He didn't believe me and ask me to show the dices. Because the total amount of 5 dices is five, I win the game. Pretty simple isn't it? Its fun. If you still confuse, I can teach you. This thing is best understood by playing it. It took me more than 20 observations before I truly comprehend the game. The loser had to drink:

Not the whole bottle. You need to mix it up with other kind of drink. That night the mix were coke and this, and Jasmine tea and this.

Apart from karaoke and drinking, we also ordered food. This really reminds me of sleepless night with Kayun when we were hungry, she would just cook out of the fridge. So I ordered spicy shrimp fried rice and it wasn't spicy. I think everything spicy in this part of the world is just not spicy. Although the chicken I had at Yum Yum the other day was too spicy. Don't trust me? Ask Kayun.

I peed a lot that day. The toilet was damn small. And limited too. Two standing and one cubicle. The place was dominated by chinese students. Apparently Johnny is a regular customer here. And thanks to that fact we got discounts. 16 quid per person. While the usual price is 45 quid per person.

Nobody was drunk that day. Boring. We arrived at Saint Martin at 5.30 and stayed there till 7.00 a.m. The guys were on games and I was sleeping.

Wokmania with Hjh And Liya

I would like to congraculate Hjh and Liya for being the first two Bruneians to visit my place. : ) Thanks Jah for bringing me along. Appreciate it much. Finally I found another psychologist, my future colleague. hehe. : )

That's it for now. Till next time. My tooth is playing games with me. AHHHHH.

Have a nice day.

Busy Busy Busy deliberately

When I thought I have everything under control things went out of control. Not in a negative direction not even a positive one. Let me explain.

My initial plan was to attend the Spanish Welcome Party but something more interesting came up, Anime Screening. You know what this means? Do I need to write it down? Maybe I should not. ( :

I am going to Newcastle on the 28 for the R.A.G. Gonna spent two nights with the Aston R.A.G, raising money (I assume it is) for charity. I swear to God I don't know what I am involving myself into.

MASOC meeting on Wednesday. Am going for the Event job. Why? Cause I believe the more event you attend (Mostly events that you can write down in your cv), the more experience you gain. However there is a probability that I might end up with finance. Which is not a bad thing. I could double the investment in a month if I want to.

Pad Thai on Friday for Johnny's birthday. 11.30 p.m till 5.00 a.m. And few hours later am going to London. Haiz.

Already contacted both karate and Aikido dojo. Next week karate. Next month aikido. I am deliberately making myself busy. Why? I need to compensate my fresh year or to be more precise I want to fully appreciate my University life. Heck I chose the wrong year to do it.

I've been 'stalking' people from the comfort of my room. I took this picture few days ago. I think its cute. Sorry for the retard zoom ability. Its not your above average camera but its a good camera.

The kid was wearing a batman suit. Go Batman. 10 reasons why everyone should vote for Batman:
1. Batman is so much cooler than superman or spiderman or any other DC or Capcom heroes.
2. He is the only hero that requires no 'super power' to save people.
3. He is rich and every hot lady wants a rich dude.
4. Peter Parker is a nerd while Clark is clumsy.
5. He got nice gadgets and a super awesome bat cave.
6. He is intelligent in a not nerd kind of way.
7. Batman is the closest anyone can get to become a real hero. : )
8. Even his enemies are seduced by his charm. Huhu.
9. Most importantly he's a normal human. Not an alien, not a mutated biological experiment product, and not a cross between human and animal.
10. His movie sold the largest figure Hollywood ever seen since titanic. haha.

The only thing that annoys me about superheroes is the fact that they wear briefs.

Brief=Masculinity?

A worthy research topic.

I got lots to talk about these days. I'll be talking about my visit to infant school tomorrow. And a review on the anime screenings tonight. Till next post.

Have a wonderful nice day.

To Aru Majutsu No Index

PhotobucketAlign Centre

I hate it. I really hate it. I mean I love it but I hate it. Contradict.

Why do you have to suffer? Toma!! Shit. I almost cried watching 'this seriously you must watch' anime. Kokoroni Janai Deska? (My heart, isnt it?). I don't want to spoil the content of the anime. If you're interested, visit crunchyroll.com and type in the whole title on the search button. Index...I feel sorry for you. I hope God supports you when the truth is revealed to you. : (

Everything happens for a reason. I can give you two examples:
1. I lost my auction for Sony HDTV 40 inch. Last night I realized how much reading I must do to keep up with my course. If I won the auction, there is a huge possibility that I spent all my time playing Disgaea 3 on PS3. I could not possibly dedicate myself on games right now with two reports to hand in before this holiday. I can just write a report in day, but to write 'A' report requires a lot of time.
2. I found a 'job'. I've been making consistent money for three days straight. However it was time consuming. The gains were inconsistent and I look like a zombie after the 'job'. I decided to ditch it. So much for 200 quids a day. sigh.

I'm going London this Saturday...I think. There is something in London I must do that God gave me three opportunities to buy AHKS London ticket. But heck, if there is something better to do on Saturday here in Birmingham, I rather stay.

'S' (name disclosed because he insist not to put his name on me blog) decided to pop into my room today. He showed me this disgusting video clip of a hand entering a man's arse. I am serious. A whole fist fits the man's arse. Do we have hole that big??? I mean how could a fist fits an arse??? The worst part was that something oozy came out of his arse. Yellow bile kinda liquid. The more amazing thing is that we managed to watch the bloody clip for 6 minutes. Curiosity took over the rational mind. Any biologist or physiologist can help explain how big our hole is? And the yellow thing. The image is still in my head. OMMMMMMMMMMM

Guess who I stalked yesterday:

Can you guess who they are?

You can tell the people right? : )

Have a nice day.

I was tagged by my dalingzzz, Arin The Red.

1. Take a recent photo of yourself. (Done)
2. Don't change your cloth (I've been wearing this one for two days now), dont fix your hair (Its been 5 hours since the last time I washed my hair)...just take a picture.
3. Post that picture without editing (Nothing to edit, acne scars are less visible with this webcam of mine, :) )
4. Post this instruction with this picture.
5. Tag 5 people to do this.
I wish: Wendy, Jayleif, Kenny, Nicole and Dawn. (This is impossible because these people are huge names in blogging. What for they waste time replying to my tag request.)
I want them to: Eena, Eizan, Dee, bru-mingham website (This gonna be exciting) and Naqib.

Police - _ -

Whats up with police hanging around all over the place. Is it a good thing or a bad thing? Good thing if they want to make sure neighborhood is peaceful. But what if they were told that something big is about to happen and they were to prepare for it? Big as in not good. Like a (^-^)/(((((((((●~*. (Go copy paste the emoticon to find out what it stands for)

Had my lunch at Wokmania with Albert@Summer. I was disappointed that there was no seafood menu on the buffet. Fish is very important because it contains omega fatty acid. Some argues that the healthy bits wears off when you fry it. Honestly, I don't care. I want my fish. Hear me, I want my fish!!!

There are other things I don't like about the current Wokmania. These things are:

1. The Music Videos. Too much burakku videos. I wanna puke.
2. The corn soup. Tasteless.
3. The lighting. So dark and gloomy. I feel like am in a funeral.

There are things I like about the current Wokmania. These things are:
1. The lamb. So tasty.
2. The ring thinge. It was later I found out that it contained uncut onion. Thank God my stomach had enough by that time.
3. The price. Not bad for over (____) dishes. 6.95. 18 dollars Brunei.

I was testing my camera to see if the blurry effect still exist.

So sharp...I wonder if the rant I did few days ago got something to do with this...
Another one...I didn't believe this is happening so I took another one
Ok, that is weird.

According to Hajah, the blurry effect was caused by my inability to maintain the camera@shakky. Now I might agree with her. Perhaps I was shaky that day without realizing it. Going through something without being conscious about it. Just like the other day at Tesco when I was about to pay then I realized my wallet wasn't in my bag and I started to panic and to my relieved, the wallet was on my hand all along. I learned this condition in class but forgot already. Later I check it out.

I need a new set of wardrobe. Am going to indulge myself at mailbox at the end of this month. I need a new jacket, a new glove, a new bag and everything that fancies me. Maybe I should go Paris and buy stuff there. Wah Lisyah so loaded you. I'm just writing it down. There is a word for this, its daydreaming. Haha. But who knows right, I win something big or maybe the rich decides I am a good cause to start investment. I sound not like me. This is temporary. You'll be surprised if I decide to go pious again. Haha.

So whats my plan this weekend and soon after? Not much really.

1.Maybe I go tennis tomorrow.
2. I decided not to go for London trip. I could ask the Londoners to bring me around sometime in future.
3. Learned a little bit of spanish before the ice breaking session. Aston Spanish Society.
4. Go star city with my mentee. Maybe bring Jun and James along.
5. Badminton with my lovelies (Shuhir, Hjh, Hanif n Yan Yan)
6. Aikido sign up for next month class. Anyone interested to join me? I know they should be at least one or two people who have interest in this martial art.
7. Christmas shopping for my christmas celebration at my aunt. Maybe I buy her a book or something. Then there's Uncle Peter, a new pair of sock. And there's Jessy, a foot massager? -_-
8. Christmas shopping at Canal/Martin's gate. I hope there is one.
9. Christmas shopping for (______).
10. Birthday present for my one and only sister.
11. Finish my reading.
12. Join anime. I really want to dress up as (_________). That'll be fun. Maybe I should just knock on Kumi's door and sign up. I am not that courageous. Courage comes when I am brave enough to handle the situation. When am jitty and nervous, courage seems to forget me entirely. Haiz.
13. This is not my intended layout. Its just temporary. Am making one atm. It is so hard to think of a concept. Sheeshhh. And whats up with this photoshop man. Am very bad at it. Grrrr.

The list can go on and on. Ahhh. My bread habis/nil/zero/finish. Tesco is 5 minutes away and am so lazy to walk in the rain. Maybe I just go knock on Nadir's room and ask for some. No shame. haha.

Eh, Luke is so childish man. Love to prank. I show you some. Maybe I put some chili on his bed. Bwahahahaha. Ok...or maybe I hide his key and lock his room...wrong lock his room and hide his key. Keeran need to trim his hair. I should buy of those shavers and shave it for him. Hahaha.

Until next time. I hope you guys doing great cause I am.

Have a nice day.

James Bond

Photobucket

Me, Nik, Yen, Neil, Dan and Nadir went to Cineworld for this ok movie. Different people have different opinion right? I had never seen the Casino Royale, so I can't tell which one is better. Next week, we'll be watching Saw 5. Anyone interested can come along. : ) Yen is dating Neil...as I predicted. Man am going to sign up for the psychic job. haha

I hate auctions.

I'll be having my surgery soon. I am so excited. I can't wait to have this vein remove. Its been with me for a very long time now. The doctor is considering the latest laser treatment on my leg. : ) There would be a post about the condition of my leg, the before and after pic. I shall save details of this condition of mine in that post. Oh, the nurse told me that they will sent a letter to First Avenue for the date of surgery. So to my X-housemates, once the letter arrive, can you guys text me? I appreciate that to the max. : )

For people who have been reading my blog since....forever you guys should remember me telling you guys that I sound like a girl/kid/whatever on the phone. I have a story to share. Few days ago, a guy called my room number. He wanted to buy my computer for a price of 200 quids. I told him he got the wrong number. He insisted that he got the right number. I tried to reason but it was not successful. I hung up on him.

Few days later he called again. He said 220 quids, I hung up on him. Yesterday he called again, this time he said 'Good afternoon madam' and hung up. I could tell that he was interested in my voice from his tone. I know this is not good for masculinity, but what can I do? Deepen my voice and make it sound unnatural to me? Bah, who cares about what other thinks. I should really consider working for a telephone company (how many times have I mentioned this?). I guarantee sales record go beyond expectation. : )

A very short post. I stop here. Till next post.

Have a nice day.

Malaysian Nottingham Games

Departed from Aston at 6.00 a.m. Hadn't got enough sleep...or to be more accurate no sleep at all. Our transporation was provided by the student guild. Yes, the student guild. Apparently we could ask for this kind of support if it involves Aston University Students.

MASOC sent three teams.

Football
AHKS football team

Badminton
James and Gapten: Single
Phuc and YingYa Shi: Mixed double

Snooker
Matthew Li

From this point onwards, I have the options to continue with details (and bore you to death)or straight to the point. Due to the fact that I am lazy I decided to go with the former option.

So what did our team get from the game?

Football team
Third in their table

Badminton
Quarter final

Snooker
Semi final

There are two reasons to justify this defeat (So I believe)
1. None of the participants were trained for this event. It is commendable that we made it halfway through the competition.
2. Most of the participants had not enough sleep. (Golden rule: Always sleep before competing to avoid build up of lactid acid)

The reason I decided to tag along was because:

Photobucket
ヘ(^_^ヘ)(ノ^_^)ノ

I did snapped some pictures from the game. I realized that samsung's zoom capability is seriously retarded. Blurred pictures are certain, and I can prove it to you.

Photobucket
The High Education Minister from Malaysia. Apparently Malaysian and Bruneians shared similar traits, that is to not listen to speeches. (See, the picture so blur)

Photobucket
Phuc and Ying warming up before their first event. (I should seriously buy a new camera (T-T))

Matthew Li doing his things (Maybe I should start a new fab, blur pictures!!!)

A clearer shot.

James. Surprisingly I am now used to his mengambangness.

Bruneians!!!! Its so blur that you can't actually tell who's who. Its Mizi and Zainul. and some strangers I don't know off. There were infact lots of Bruneian that day. I met Nurul Farhan, Natasha Chan, Zakiyyah, Haikal, Peiru, MS juniors. I saw Anis, Fidz and some MS seniors.

I am truly sorry if you get annoyed by the low quality pictures. Its not my fault that my camera is samsung. Honestly nobody cares. Oh, before I forget:

There was this food festival. Spend 2.30 quids on nasi lemak. The taste was ok. Nasi Lemak Kayun is more yummy. Of course I never taste one but I bet its yummy.

I shall stop now. I need to sleep. Got to wake up early tomorrow for appointment. Hopefully the surgery take place a.s.a.p. As soon as I finish with the surgery I shall commit myself to sports. Its time to make use of this giant vessel.

I wish you all well. Have a nice day.

Cooking and Singing

This is a proper post.

Friday Night I went to Hazim's place to help out with MASOC food preperation. The ingredients of the sandwhices were beef (It was the best beef I ever tasted in Birmingham), lettuce and mayonnaise. It was not part of my plan (I was only to cook for dinner in exchange for using the internet for 2 gb downloads) but I help them anyways since I will be part of the MASOC committee. It is not a betrayal as far as I believe. Anyone who thinks so need their brain reboot.

What did I cooked? Butter Milk Chicken and Mutiara prawn.

ButterMilk Chicken
This dish was taught by Hanif and he was taught by Hazmy. The ingredients:
Butter
Evaporated Milk
Sugar
Minced Carrot
Minced Mushroom
Chicken (Marinated with my own personal recipe : ) )

It took me more than an hour to fried the chicken. I was nervous but pretended not to. Why would you be nervous? Its electrical cooker for heaven sake.

Electric cooker = Electrical bills

Next time I will fried the chicken before bringing them to Hazim. From now onwards, bold sentences indicates something is learned.

When I cook, I prefer to do things on my own. Having control over all the ingredients, dominating the kitchen until the food is completed. However that night, three gentlemen insisted on helping me. Marcus, Wai Khin and William. I could not refused their help after the sixth or seventh persuasion.

Mutiara Shrimp
I learned to cook this dish from a cooking book my mom gave me. It was actually meant for chicken or beef but I decided to use shrimp instead.

Ingredient A
Turmeric Powder (You can buy this powder in China Town)
Dark Soya Sauce
Shallot (Again available in China Town. This small thing, smaller than garlic is expensive)
Garlic
Lemon Grass (Available in China Town)
Shrimps (Tesco)

Ingredient B
Shallot
Garlic
Lemon Grass
Calamansi
Sugar (I cant find palm sugar so replace it with this instead)
Honey
Dark Soya Sauce
Chili boh

Surprisingly my first attempt with this dish was successful. The food was well received. I found it good myself. I am not boasting, its the truth. I wonder if I could ever replicate this success next time?

After the dinner, we did some random stuffs. The most memorable was

Photobucket
Sing Star!!!

Photobucket
Hazim and Marcus on 'stupid' duet.

Photobucket
Nadir and William

I have to admit that Hazim is super good at singstar. He either get a Singstar or lead singer ranking. It is amazing coming from someone who doesn't look like a singer. : ) William ranked us according to our ability:

Hazim
Me
Wai Khin
Nadir
Marcus
William

"If there is mandarin song, sure we beat you guys" Wai Khin
Any Asian game programmers up for this challenge? Making malay and chinese sing star. Guarantee popular. I will buy the game if there is one. In fact, any karaoke addict will buy that game if it is develop. I want tiada lagi tangisan in the default song lists and Ilhamku.

I need a branded HDTV. Any givers? The cheapest is 199 quids. That is samsung. You can by this from argos. I prefer Sony because it compliments my PS3. So rich person out there who is reading this blog, if you are thinking of doing some act of random kindness, will you be kind enough to give me Sony HDTV? Am not joking, I seriously need a hdtv. My PS3 collects dust if not connect to HDTV.

It would be inappropriate to request this as a birthday gift, but if anyone considering this as a birthday gift, it will be the best birthday gift so far in my life!!! Ok...why would anyone want to buy a HDTV for me anyways? iatahbah. But there is no harm in saying it right? There is a probability that I'll be organizing a small makan for my birthday. My birthday falls on Monday. Who got mood to attend something on Monday anyways? Sigh.

Should I got for the Aston rag week? The individual ticket sold out. Week pass is 16 quids. : (

I haven't decided on my trip to London with the AHKS society. It would be fun travelling with Melody and Michael. I can't spend blindly these days knowing that my allowance is reduced to only 200 ++ pound per month.

My financial plan for next week:

1. Join Spanish Society 5 quids
2. Join Legolas underlings@Archery 7 quids
3. Join Aikido Ei Men Kan Dojo in Northfield 40 quids. (Should I just wait December to come? I missed two beginners lesson for this month, which leaves me with 6 lessons. When I did the math, each lesson cost about 5 pounds. So if I decide to join this Tuesday class, it should cost me 30 quids.)
4. Pay for the London trip. (Still considering.)

Atm, I am bidding for a Sony TV. Chances are I will lose this bid. Already spend 35 quids for this 'sort of bidding'. I want to share with you the website, but that would mean more competitors and I don't like competitors in a situation where wining is not certain. Stalker in facebook should have an idea the name of the website because I did wrote it on my status. I just hate it when people don't give up. Now its already 80 quids. I should concentrate at this bidding. Am not gonna let my 35 quids go to waste. I'll be back with another proper post on Malaysian Nottingham games. Till next time.

Have a nice day.

Nice Dinner

My cooking was disastrous. Thank God Yen was there to help me with it. These things happened:

1. Apparently Luke is allergic to gluten and Wheat@Noodles I bought not good for him!!! So I had to cook butter milk chicken.

2. The butter milk chicken missed the most important ingredient, the Evaporated milk. No wonder I felt something is missing. I put in tomato instead of mushroom. A very bad replacement.

"Mushroom and Tomato, where's the connection?"
"Veggies?"
*Roll eyes*

3. Confidently I told them nothing can ever compare to ABC Extra Pedas sauce, I was proven wrong. This Extra hot Indian sauce is much hotter but both Summer and Yen thought it wasn't . What happened to the once self declared king of Pedas? Tongue why did you give up on me?? : (

4. Summer introduced me this thing called Kata (I don't know how to spell it but the word has the same phonetic expression). Not my thing. I am one of the 8 people who will definitely not like it.

5. I asked the guys the Green Glass Door Question and they gave up early. They googled it. People, give me some hard questions that can make them go mad. : ) Something that internet cannot find.

6. Jake and Luke are gym goers. I have gym group. Wohoo!!!

"Are you cooking for the white people?"
"Errr...am cooking for my friends, I called them but they didn't answer"
"oh"

I hate lying but I have too. A Nigeria woman asked me this question. It sounded so wrong. Of course I didn't invite the black people because I don't feel the connection. I wanted to invite the two Indians but the food was meant for six (Although left overs in the container is enough to feed another 3 person). I invite them next week. Slowly. Step by step.

Next week different menu. No wheat no Gluten. No wheat no gluten. Go Obama. Go Obama. Go Obama.

Have a nice day.

Table Tennis

Is it so hard to greet these days? Two Bibers were right in front of me and heck they didn't even say hi to me. There are three possible reasons:

1. They didn't see me. For someone this big (I admit I am), they sure got a huge blind spot.
2. They did see me but pretend not to. If this is the reason, I kick both of your arses to planet mars. :)
3. I looked so busy (With my earphone watching XiaXue guide to life) that they decided not to disturb me.
4. They were too engrossed with their own conversation that they decided I am not worth the hi.

Am taking my mother's advice "Ambil yang baik" (Take a positive perspective). I choose number 2. Am not angry really just irritated.

I am torn between buying an electric guitar and TV. Darn it.

Went for table tennis and I must say I suck at it. The instructions given were simply ridiculous. Its ridiculous because I didn't understand a single thing he said. I didn't understand because I wasn't listening. I wasn't listening because my mind was occupied with something insignificant. Summer is good. In fact everyone else is good. I feel so little now.

I've decided am cooking dinner tomorrow. Hear me tomorrow. Just simple noodles with chicken and eggs. There are four guys to feed. Usually a quarter of a packet is enough but not sure now. Let see tomorrow. My relentless pursuit of deliciousness. Stole that from Lexus's USP.

Next week I need to suit up for a mock interview.

Again I am torn between buying a printer and a new mobile phone. Why do I need these things? -_-

I want to play Mario Kart next door, but am really tired to even walk out this room.

One word to describe the gym....wow.

Am going to sleep. So lazy to shower.

Have a nice day.

Cleaning

In life you always get options. You either response to the situation or do something about it. I've decided to do the latter. I think I've mentioned it before but I will say it again, my halls are single sex accommodation. The typical scenario of 'all boys dorm' is dirty kitchen. Now, as you all know I am a very clean person (apart from the constant kurik hidung when nobody is looking.). The sight of dirty dishes stacked in the kitchen sink really get on my nerves. I could approach them one by one, telling them to clean up or I could do that for them.

I did clean the kitchen twice so far. Honestly, I enjoyed doing it. It relaxes me in a way meditation does. A good therapy after a long day. Obviously am not gonna do this all the time. Twice a week should be enough. The cleaning makcik/pakcik does the cleaning every Friday. So the kitchen is cleaned three times a week. I hope by doing this, others come to their senses and start cleaning their own thing. If they don't, cleaning therapy is not that bad. : )

Bought myself a new digital camera and a new pair of pant.

It is so amazing that things actually turned out like this. I mean me living in halls. Who have thought that I actually stay in hall? God has his own way making things happen. I maintain my relationship with my First Avenue's housmates and at the same time enjoying a Student's life. Went to Yum Yum with Sally@Hajah, Shuhir and Hanif. The spicy charcoal chicken was not spicy, it was burned. It was no good but I loved the popcorn chicken. : )

Uni always have something in store for us. For example, they will be a Korean Drama Screening for students next week. You can only get this opportunity living near university without doing so much effort. This does not suggest that people outside campus are totally clueless but they need to make the extra effort to find this sort of information.

I will be going to Nottingham this Saturday. Probably again the next Saturday. And London next week. My Saturday is booked with societies's activities. Am I doing too much?

It took 1 and half day to download a 1 gb out of 2 gb game file. The download failed. I should go to first avenue and download this file or just pop in Hazim's house. Sigh. Choices. Sometimes its easier if we are told the best options available.

Have a nice day.

Halloween

I spent the whole night at Hazim's place. 42 inches TV are huge!!! HD ready Tv is so awesome!!! We (Neil, Nik, Yen, Hazim, Nadir, Marcus and me) watched The Mist. I hate the ending!! Wai Khin and William came back from London at 10. We ate black pepper, lemon chicken, egg and prawns for dinner. I don't remember the chronological of what we did after that, but here's what we did:

1. Played FiFa 2008.
2. Watched Nadir played fall out something something. (Was it before dinner?)
3. Watched another movie, nightmare at Elmstreet? (William was hillarious. I thought I was the number 1 penakut)
4. Munched on an amazing cheesecake from London.
5. Dynasty Warrior 6.
6. Sing Star. (Hazim can sing!!!)
7. Slept.

Went back to halls at 6 ish a.m. Took a shower and went straight to Cambridge with Singaporean Society. I love Cambridge. Peaceful and quiet. Snored on the way back to Birm. Luckily, William was also snoring. My snoring buddy. Haha. Dan was evil enough to let me snored throughout the journey. He should had shook me to consciousness. That boy.

Socialized with the new hallsmate. I really need to make this dinner. I really need to make them comfortable around me. What should I cook? They say they like spicy food. Spicy fried rice? Spicy noodle? Spicy chicken? Lets refer to my mother's cookbook.  Bumped again into ****.... When I was looking very pandaie. (Black eye like panda)

Have a nice day.
